What is a modular camping table?
A modular camping table has a frame with removable tabletop panels. On a compatible frame, you can replace a panel with an insert such as a tea tray, basin, or storage basket. Some systems also accept shelves or extensions that attach to the edge.
The benefit is a layout you can change: a clear surface for breakfast, a tray for an afternoon tea setup, or a basket to keep small items off the table. You do not need to fill every opening with an accessory.
What does “one unit” mean?
A unit describes the space an insert occupies within a modular table system. A half-unit accessory takes half the nominal layout space of a one-unit accessory in the same system. A three-unit frame has less nominal insert space than a four- or five-unit frame.
Products described as “IGT-style” or “one unit” can differ in dimensions, edge profiles, supports, and attachment points. Compare the actual specifications of both the table and the accessory.
For example, in a compatible three-unit opening, a one-unit tray and two one-unit panels fill three units. The same arithmetic does not establish that parts from different systems fit together.
The four-point accessory fit check
- Opening and outside dimensions. Compare the clear opening in the frame with the insert’s body and outside edge. Check length and width; do not infer size from a photograph.
- Supporting edge or attachment. Confirm how the part is supported: a lip on rails, a sliding bracket, a clamp, or dedicated mounting holes. Matching width alone is not enough.
- Clearance below and beside the table. Allow for the depth of a basin or basket, leg braces, folding joints, chair space, and any hose or cable.
- The exact configuration. Match the table model, accessory model, and selected option. Check whether adapters, rails, a pump, or other pictured parts are included.

Follow the instructions for your specific model. Remove loose accessories before folding, let washed parts dry fully, and protect finished surfaces from grit in the carry bag. Check connections and locking points before each use.
Keep powered components dry according to their instructions. A tabletop opening alone does not make a table suitable for a stove: heat clearance, support, fuel connection, and the appliance instructions also matter.
Questions about modular setups
Do I need accessories to use a modular table?
No. A table supplied with a complete set of tabletop panels can be used as a regular surface. Check the contents of the selected table configuration.
Will every IGT-style accessory fit a PINELORE table?
Do not assume universal compatibility. Match dimensions, support profiles, attachments, and clearance with the exact table model.
Does a sink insert include a water pump?
Only if the selected product configuration explicitly includes one. A sink, pump, hose, and water container can be separate items.
